Vorig jaar gingen er lange tijd geruchten over een sequel op de in 2007 gelanceerde game The Darkness. Net nu het stil is rondom deze geruchten kondigt 2K dan eindelijk The Darkness II aan.
De titel verschijnt in de herfst op de PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 en PC. Veel details zijn er helaas nog niet, echter wilde 2K baas Christoph Hartmann wel/ het volgende kwijt:
