Met Dead Rising ontwikkelde Capcom een succesvolle Action/Adventure op de Xbox 360 die momenteel een vervolg voor de PC, de PlayStation 3 en de Xbox 360 krijgt dankzij Blue Castle. In de game moet de zombie-invasie opnieuw bestreden worden, maar ditmaal gebeurt dit in een casino.
Tijdens het bestrijden van de zombie-plaag kan de speler ook Trophies verdienen, namelijk 51 verschillende met als toppunt natuurlijk de Platinum trophy. Er zijn ook nog 43 bronzen, drie zilveren en drie gouden Trophies. Wat de 51ste Trophy wordt, is nog niet bekend. Dat is namelijk een geheime Trophy.
